My husband, my brother and I went out to our storage unit one Sunday a few weeks ago to downsize some things. I found these flour/sugar canisters that I’d forgotten I had. We got them as a gift at our wedding, but didn’t have room for them in our last apartment. They were also an ugly brown color, so I was never the biggest fan. I brought them back to the apartment and primed them.
Then painted them the color I wanted them (followed by a clear coat).
I let them dry overnight. I did not paint the inside of these canisters, so I can still use them to hold things such as flour, sugar, and whatever I choose to put in the little one, but unfortunately I cannot wash these. They will have to be wiped out with a wash cloth. A small price to pay for not having to look at the ugly brown anymore, I suppose.
After they’re all finished. I love them! They look so good in my kitchen and really stand out!
